THE ST ANDREWS PRIZE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

The award recognises significant contributions to environmental issues and concerns. Applications are invited from individuals, multi-disciplinary teams or community groups. The winning environmental project receives funding of $100,000 USD and each of the two runners-up receive $25,000 USD. **THE ENTRY PERIOD FOR THE 2019 PRIZE HAS BEEN EXTENDED** Applications are invited from individuals, multi-disciplinary teams or community groups for this annual prize, which is $100,000 USD for the winner and $25,000 USD for each of the other two finalists. Anyone wishing to enter the 2019 prize should complete the online entry form by Friday 22 June 2018. The primary objective of the Prize is to find innovative solutions to environmental challenges across the world. Research Masters & PhD Scholarships at Macquarie University, Australia

2019 International Research Training Program scholarship (iRTP) and International Macquarie Research Excellence Scholarship program (iMQRES) The main scholarship round for international candidates is the International Research Training Program scholarship (iRTP). The International Research Training Program is the Australian Commonwealth Government scholarship scheme for supporting international higher degree research candidates of exceptional promise. Applicants applying for an iRTP will be automatically considered for the University funded International Macquarie Research Excellence Scholarship program (iMQRES) in the same round. Applicants should refer to main round scholarships as either ‘iRTP’ or ‘iMQRES’ within their application. No allocation reference numbers apply. USA Government Fulbright Foreign Student Program 2018-19

Overview The Fulbright Program provides orientation and enrichment opportunities to enhance the Fulbright Program experience in the United States. More than half of all incoming Fulbright Foreign Students participate in pre-academic training, either English language training or Fulbright Gateway Orientations. Enrichment Seminars are organized in 16 different cities across the United States. Grantees also participate in specialized workshops with themes, such as From Lab to Market, focusing on research and entrepreneurship, U.S. Disability Rights and Global Health Innovations. Program funding is provided by the U.S. Congress through an annual appropriation to the U.S. Department of State.
