ASEAN Development Scholarship at Coventry University, England

Coventry University is a public research university in the city of Coventry, England, part of the wider Coventry University Group. It was formerly known as Lanchester Polytechnic until 1987, and Coventry Polytechnic until it was awarded university status in 1992. The university comprises four faculties which are made up of schools and departments which collectively run around 300 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Across the university, there are 11 research centers which specialize in different fields, from transport to peace studies.
With more than 29,000 students (as of 2017), Coventry University is the larger of the two universities in the city – the other being the University of Warwick – and the fastest growing university in the UK.
Nationally, Coventry moved to 12th in the Guardian University league tables of 2018, beating the likes of Leeds University and Birmingham University. It was initially ranked 15th by The Guardian University Guide in the year 2016, 23rd by The Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2016 and 43rd by The Complete University Guide 2018. Internationally, Coventry is ranked within the top 551-600 universities in the world by the 2018 QS World University Rankings.
The People & Planet Green League 2013, a UK ranking based on environmental and ethical performance, placed Coventry 43rd, gaining a ‘First Class’ rating. According to the 2013 National Student Survey, 90% of Coventry University students were satisfied with their course.
In 2017 the University also gained a Gold in the Governments Teaching Excellence FrameWork
To give ASEAN students the opportunity to study in England, the Coventry University is giving off some grant to aid students with financial help. This scholarship will consider each application on its merits, but only applications made through the process before the deadline.

ASEAN citizens, (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam.)

Value of scholarship:

The award worth between £2,000 and £5,000

Degree Program:

Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree

Eligible:

  • Must be a citizen living in the ASEAN region, and be a national of a country in the region.
  • Hold at least a CGPA 3.0 academic qualification, or an equivalent academic qualification.
  • Must be self-funded and paying international tuition fees
  • Hold an offer for a qualifying course from the University.
