MBA Scholarships for Women at University of London, England

The University of London (informally London University and commonly abbreviated as Lond. or, more rarely, Londin) is a collegiate and a federal research university located in LondonEngland. The university was incorporated originally by royal charter in 1836, which also allows it to be one of three institutions to claim the title of the third-oldest university in England. The university is, at present, incorporated by royal charter granted in 1863 and is now governed by the University of London Act 1994 and by the Statutes made under it. The university currently consists of 18 constituent colleges, nine research institutes and a number of central bodies. The collegiate university houses the second-oldest medical school in London], and was the first to admit women as degree candidates in the United Kingdom and also the first to appoint a female as its Vice-Chancellor in the United Kingdom.
The university is the largest university in the United Kingdom by the total number of enrolled students (internal and external) from more than 190 countries, with over 52,000 distance learning students in external mode and 161,270 campus-based internal students, making largest university by the number of full-time students in the United Kingdom. The university was established by royal charter in 1836, as a degree-awarding examination board for students holding certificates from University College London and King’s College London and “other such other Institutions, corporate or unincorporated, as shall be established for the purpose of Education, whether within the Metropolis or elsewhere within our United Kingdom”. The university moved to a federal structure in 1900.
To celebrate 150 years of women in Higher Education, University of London is offering 150 scholarships for women to study the Global MBA. This scholarship will cover 40% of total tuition fee of the MBA Program. Please find further information below:

Eligible:

  • Can be women of any nation, of all ages, races and education levels.
  • Must be able to self-funding yourself during the scholarship period.
  • Pass the entrance exam.
  • Meet the admission requirement to the University.
  • Students already registered with the University of London cannot apply for this scholarship.

How to apply:

To apply for this scholarship, you have to complete the Application Form Word Document (including two written statements, max. 500 words, outlining your achievements and how the MBA will impact your future). After that, you have to submit this application for the Global MBA through online Application platform, which you can find here:

  • June 1st, 2018 (for July 2018 intake)
  • September 1st, 2018 (for October 2018 intake)
  • December 1st, 2018 (for January 2019 intake)
